Ewan Easton, 19, from Bearsden in Glasgow, has died after a fall in the French Alps near Grenoble.
He was climbing in the mountains near St Christophe D'Oisans, according to official sources. Police are investigating what happened: the accident occurred either late on Wednesday night or early on Thursday morning.
