The current record for the youngest Brit to summit Everest was set by 21 year old Jake Meyer in June 2005. Rob and James are both most likely to be just 19 if they reach the top. In fact Rob's 19th birthday is on 10th May, which is historically the most summitted day.
Rob and James are climbing in aid of Cancer Research UK, a charity which means a great deal to them both. More news is at www.everest-2006.com.
