Warm Up (or Get Injured) and Climb Your Best

© BMC
We all do it, but we shouldn't. What am I talking about? Getting straight onto a tricky route or boulder problem without warming up; some claiming that when they are fresh they climb their best. Sage advice from many climbing coaches tells us the contrary, that warming up is essential if you want to perform at your best and is also good prevention against injury.

The BMC in their wisdom have, in conjuction with the Foundry climbing wall in Sheffield, produced a video showing some simple warm up excercises.

You can watch it her at BMC TV

It's a bit like one of those old BBC Pubic Information Films and will no doubt have a cult following. The question is: Who is the Reginald Molehusband character in this BMC video?
