Gérôme Pouvreau has done the first ascent of an old Jérôme Rochelle-bolted project at Orgon Canal, near Avignon, in southern France. The crag is home to old (chipped) classics like Bronx and Macumba club. The frequent chipping is also a reason why this place, so hot in the 90s, isn't so hot anymore. Anyway, Gérôme's new route, Sachidananda, tried by many of the French guns of the past, weighs in at 9a. As they say in France: Chapeau!
