So, let's get personal.
Today I'm:
195cm/6'5" This isn't likely to change for some time yet
~86 kgs/~190lbs. I should be able to lose a few kgs here, say three.
How? I'm thinking LCHF (Low Carbo High Fat). When? Let's say:
Goal: 83 kgs 1 April.
Front lever
Being as tall as I am, doing a strict front lever isn't exactly easy, but I've been working on it for some time now and I'm making progress, so...
Goal: Strict front lever 5 sec,1 March.
One arm pull-up
I don't think I'll ever be able to do one... Too tall, too heavy...
Dead hang from crimp
I think my main weakness is finger strength. Due to injuries, I haven't been able to work on this for the last 5 years or so, but I think now is the time to try it.
Goal: 3 sec deadhand from a crimp, 1 April
GradeWhat level am I aiming for then? This is almost impossible to answe, because a level and a grade is hardly the same thing. Looking at all the boulders I've done in the past, I wouldn't say the problems given the highest numbers are the ones I've found most difficult. In fact, the amount of time and effort I've put in is more or less the same regardless of if it's been a 7B, 7C, 7C+ or even 8A. The only 8A I've done took me about an hour, 58 minutes of which were wasted on the wrong sequence... Sure I've chosen problems that have suited me, but this goes for the easier ones as well.
Goal: three 7C's or harder this season. It has to be problems I haven't done before.
Now, my friends, I need your help!
I've got ~8h a week to train and I hate running.
Ideas?
