Kendal Festival hit Islands: Traditional Tales of Lakeland Climbing is Dom Bush's début film, and will be going live on the site in three parts spread over the week, culminating in next week's Friday Night Video.
The film, featuring Adam Hocking, James McHaffie, Stuart Wood and others, captures hard and classic routes in the Lake District and was filmed over the last year.
Dom commented:
"The film started out as a minor project at the end of my media degree, and developed throughout the course of a year. It has been a brilliant journey and I've met some great friends who influenced the project hugely, it is their film too. I'm really grateful for the parts they all played."
Dom Bush has been producing content for the outdoor and adventure film industry for the past couple of years under the banner of Land and Sky Media. He recently won an exciting film commission through Kendal Mountain Festival to make a documentary film about Cumbria and the Lake District, which will have its première at the Kendal Mountain Festival 2012.
