Iker Pou has made the first ascent of Celedon at Ilarduia, Spain, for which he proposes 9a+.

Iker bolted the 42 meter line four years ago, and for a long time he believed he would never be able to do it because it would require an amount of resistance he simply didn't possess.

Now, after many attempts, he finally managed to climb what he describes as one of the most beautiful routes he has ever bolted for its first ascent.

Iker Pou is undoubtedly one of the world's premiere all rounders, having climbed everything from 8B+ boulder problems, via 9a+ sport routes to first ascents and repeats of the hardest multi pitches all over the world.

This summer, Iker and his brother Eneko, Ben Lepesant and Hansjörg Auer, made the first ascent of The Door, a 16 pitch 8b on Baffin Island.

Iker Pou is sponsored by: The North Face, Euskaltel, La Sportiva, Petzl, Beal and Red Bull
