Bouldering with Mina Leslie-Wujastyk 4Video Series

Earlier in the winter Brits Mina Leslie-Wujastyk and David Mason went on an extended bouldering road trip around the USA. They travelled to Joe's Valley, Yosemite, Ibex, Bishop and more.

Mina climbed loads of hard problems, as did David, and we featured Mina's ascents in a few UKC News Items last November and December.

Now we have a set of nicely put together videos from David Mason, mainly featuring Mina, but with a few clips of David too.

If you're thinking of going bouldering in the USA (yes please!) then check out these videos that will be popping up on UKC over the course of the next few weeks.

Now we have New Joe's

Mina introduces this video:

"This video shows two of the problems that surprised me the most - Pocket Rocket and Ghost of War. I am not normally very good at dynos outside, they are usually more about power and distance whereas competition dynos are often about coordination (and sometimes fear!). So doing Pocket Rocket felt great. I hadn't really planned to try Ghost of War but a friend tried it and I got psyched. I did it in three or four goes which really took me by surprise - I guess it goes to show that even after 17 years of climbing when you think you can gauge your limits and abilities, it is still possible to surprise yourself!"
