Fred Moix has made the first ascent of Mandela Day on an extremely steep rock found by Markus Bieri in the Swiss Valais region.

Fred is of course better known as a photographer, but sometimes he puts his shoes on and does some climbing. Most times, this means bouldering and he has repeated problems as difficult as 8B+, but this time ... it was too nice, I had to bolt it :-)
