We've just gone live with a massive update to our logbooks section (route database) on UKC. The logbooks are hugely popular, with thousands of climbs ticked every week, and a database of over 336,000 routes!
There's really too many changes to list but here's a brief overview with screenshots detailing some of the new features.
Top tip: there's a button at the top right of the majority of the new pages. Click on that to get a tour of the new features.
For those of you interested in the code side of things, our technical guys have had their work cut out with this update and at the base of the article you can see a table that gives an indication of how much work has gone in to this update... tens of thousands of lines of code!
Also worth noting is that you can choose your preferred type of bouldering grade for your own logbook now (are you a V grade or a Font grade kind of climber?) and also if you're into hill walking, our sister site UKHillwalking.com has had an update on her Hill Page too.
We'd like to give a big thank you to Paul Phillips and Martin McKenna for their hard work on this part of the site - nice work chaps!
