In May we reported that Nicky Spinks had completed a double Bob Graham Round, in a new record time of 45 hours and 30 minutes. UKClimbing and UKHillwalking were there throughout the weekend to capture the action for a new feature length documentary, Run Forever, to be premiered at Kendal Mountain Film Festival. Click here for the screening schedule and tickets.

Nicky was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and has since gone on to become one of the UK's most successful fell runners, setting multiple fell and ultra running records across the UK, as well as placing highly in many of Europe's top races.

In our new film 'Run Forever' we delve into Nicky's inspirational backstory, whilst showing a unique perspective of the weekend when Nicky completed the double Bob Graham. Starting and finishing in Keswick, a standard Bob Graham Round involves a 66-mile circuit of 42 summits including 27,000ft of elevation gain, to be completed in less than 24 hours. Nicky, a farmer from Yorkshire, did all that twice - managing to take over an hour off the previous record set by Roger Baumeister in 1979. Roger was there throughout the weekend to support Nicky and she was also joined by 80 year old Joss Naylor, who ran from Wasdale to Honister with her.

UKClimbing and UKHillwalking were lucky enough to have the support from Inov-8 (Nicky's sponsor) to enable them to get six cameramen onto the hills and complete this project.
