On 11th of September we will be opening Phase 2 of the Depot with a fun bouldering competition and an opening party at the award winning Indian restaurant “East” (just opposite the Depot). The competition will be split between an easier and harder set of problems so there will be something for everyone. There will also be a dyno competition that will be hosted and sponsored by Mountain Intelligence.

Drew Haigh British Lead Competition Champion 2009 will be providing free coaching during the session so will be able to push people onto that next level.

Rory Holliday our resident chartered Physiotherapist will be providing free sports massage to help relax and get those muscles fighting fit.

The competition will start from 4:00 and wrap up at 9:30. You will be able to start the competition at any time up to about 8ish. The price will be normal Depot prices and rest of the centre will be open as per normal.

After the competition we will be going over the road to East, where we will be sampling the top Indian food (provided by the Depot), drinks and DJ's until the early hours. Please let us know if you are coming for food so we can get the right numbers on: info@theclimbingdepot.com, we wouldn't want you to go hungry!

From the 12th of September the Depot will be open as normal, but with all the new facilities including huge new bouldering section, Beastmaker board, campus boards, Olympic rings etc.

Any questions please let us know.
