Manchester Climbing Centre's Winter Bouldering League started with a bang last Friday, with over 100 people competing to be in with a chance of scooping this year's top prizes.

This year, the prize is really worth fighting for, as £1000 cash is up for grabs for the league winners in the adult male and female categories, courtesy of Outside and Mountain Equipment! Once again, Dave Barrans, Andy Jack and the team provided some fantastic problems, from friendly beginners up to the super gnarly!

The league is running throughout the winter months, with the next round being held on November 13th. There's still a chance to win the big money, as you only have attend 4 of the 5 rounds, so get in training now for next month! There's more prizes to be had in the junior and adult categories, as well as raffle prizes at the end of each round.

Junior Female: Charlotte Garden
