Jess McCaskey (http://jessicamccaskey.blogspot.ch) nailed Ultimat Necat (7b+) at Upper Cave Crag at Dunkeld before heading over to Warm Up (7b) at Am Fasgadh – the irony of the name wasn't lost on her!
Meanwhile down in the Peak District Oli Grounsell (http://oligclimbing.blogspot.ch") celebrated the end of exams with onsight ascents of Let the Tripe Increase (7c) and Moat People (7b+) at Moat Butress. A few weeks later he took on the weather and headed to Burbage for flashes of Masters of the Universe (E6/7 6b) and Offspring (E5 6b) and said : “These routes were both climbed in between showers, and it was great to get such a good day in, when it would have been easy to stay at home dry and warm!”
Nathan Lee (http://nathanleeclimbing.blogspot.ch) told us “this summer hasn't been overly productive”. He still managed to complete his first 8a sport route – The Call of Nature at Raven Tor and made the second ascent of Highball That you Bastards E7 6b. Not bad for an unproductive summer! Check out his videos below.
Staying in the Peak District Ethan Walker (http://ethanwalkerclimbing.blogspot.ch) came home from Frankenjura just in time for the rain. A quick trip to Cheddar resulted in ticks of The Wrist Business (7c+) and Valley of the Blind (7c). Ethan's latest news is an ascent of the “super classic” 8a The Spider at Chee Dale which he rated as a big favourite of the summer so far.
