Pete Whittaker's ascent of Baron Greenback, E9/10 7a, at Wimberry in May of this year was not only one of 2013's best ascents but resulted in one of the Uk's hardest routes, period.

What am I missing here? This looks very similar to a news story from may 2013. http://www.ukclimbing.com/news/item.php?id=68052 Is the news the ascents, the video or the interview? Either way, top video. 1cm long bolts! I would have put a hat on for them I reckon.

Sorry, my mistake. That's what happens when the news editor goes on holiday for a week, you get an idiot like me looking after it. You aren't missing anything I am. I will re-edit a bit, although the video remains the same. Alan

Amazing! Pete is a really impressive climber, and maybe quite modest in his grading. I remember watching the video of him on Dynamics of Change and thinking there are not many other people who could do that.
