Ashima Shiraishi, aged 13, has become potentially the youngest person ever - male or female - to climb 9a+, if Open Your Mind Direct keeps this upgrade suggestion. She also become the first person to climb the route since a hold broke up high on the line.

Route was 9a until the hold snapped and now thought to be 9a+, but she's the only one to climb it since so grade not yet verified, rather than her ascent not yet verified. If that makes sense...!
