wow. that route looks incredible, and one of the most inspiring short vids i've seen in a while. just out of interest, how clean/hard/sandy/friable is the sandstone at red river gorge?

Hi Ali - I was there recently, although not doing anything that hard (obviously)! I can claim to have power-screamed my way up some adjacent 5.11s as that vid was being filmed though :) The rock there is generally very clean, but with the odd dusty hold. Bullet hard, and generally very solid. The loose/friable bits were pretty obvious. So much rock! Literally a lifetime's worth of climbing spread over a much bigger area than I had imagined. Nick & I planning a trip next Easter if you're keen?!
