Premier Post: Deputy Manager at Ambleside Wall Ambleside Climbing Wall is looking to recruit a new member to its management team. The successful applicant will preferably live locally and be available for an immediate start.

We are looking for a lively, active, outgoing individual to support the current wall manager and develop within the role. The individual needs to be passionate about climbing and the benefits it brings to all, as well as being a strong climber themselves. They’ll have experience route setting and coaching at all levels, plus retail experience.

To excel in this role you will be a hard-working, driven, dynamic individual, able to work in a highly organised fashion. You will strive to provide the highest level of customer service and maintain well established standards within the company.

This is a very hands on and diverse role with empathise on route setting, instructing and retail development. It is ideally suited to those looking for progression within the indoor climbing industry. We are a small team with in the larger Adventure Peaks organisation, and occasionally we support other aspects of the wider business.

•CWLA or SPA, first aid qualifications and CRB disclosure essential.

Salary will be £15000 to £16000 (dependant on experience) for a 40 hour per week flexible contract (including evening and weekend work). Other employee benefits include discount on climbing and outdoor equipment and free climbing wall entry.
