I’ve purchased a basic set of rollers to use over the winter. I want to do cadence based workouts, just wondering if this setup would work:

Halfords cadence monitor(has Bluetooth connection) - attached to crank arm?

iPhone with Zwift app (or similar) to give real time cadence information.

My bike has also got an ANT+ sensor on one of the chainstays, would that be useful at all?

I don't know about this ANT+ chainstay stuff in addition to what you purchase from halfords, but all you need is a cadence sensor and the appropriate software (on whatever device, phone, bike computer etc) to show you the number.

Conventional system has a widget attached to the crank arm and a widget attached to the chainstay. The chainstay widget actually collects and sends the data.

Unconventional system may work in other ways.
