Pretty much bugger all. You get some benefit at higher speeds (at least 20mph+ but 25mph+ really though even then it's not massive. TT'ers get more benefit from skinsuits, aero helmets and bike position) but below that nothing really. The point of them for most is that they look bling.

Nope.
If you want something robust, maintenance free but still relatively light and stiff (and therefore climb well) I'd go for something like handbuilts with Hope 3 hubs and Velocity A23 rims 28 spoke front and rear. They'll be as light or lighter than those you've listed, stronger and the hubs will last forever. And if you wear out the rims (which you will do if you don't ever clean your bike) then you can get them rebuilt. The factory hoops will go in the bin.
