I'm familiar with Trail and TGO as walking magazines.
What might be the groups's recommendations for the best equivalents (to tgo & Trail) for cycling. I'm just starting out in the world of cycling (fairly low-key, not speed merchant, looking to do long-distance and touring) and want to read up on gear, route, bikes, what's happening etc etc.

I like Cyclist, but it's unashamedly aimed at the top end of the road market and I find it's tending towards being a bit samey now.

Cycling Weekly is a rather more UK centric and has been accused of being Sportive Weekly and that's probably a reasonable starting place.

However, road.cc (website) is well worth a look for reviews and general stuff
