That's rotten. Thieves are scum. The medieval punishment of cutting their hand off must have been a great deterrent, and certainly went a long way towards ensuring they didn't do it again

plus riding a bike would be tricky

I do feel sorry for him, however if he is really serious about cycling around the world then why has it taken 2 weeks to cycle from Edinburgh to London? And why stop in London for 2 nights?

And why not insure the bike?
