A small amount of paint has flecked off around one of my rear dropouts. What's the best way of touching it up? Is there a special sort of paint or lacquer I'm meant to use on carbon?

I just use two part, water-based auto paint.  Keep an eye out for a car that looks about right and go an buy a touch up kit from a dealer.  My red metallic bike is a close-enough match to that Renault leery metallic red.  You can see it, but only if you look properly and you'd never spot a minor colour difference down by a drop out.

I just use Humbrol enamel for models. Very handy little pots.
