Overall GC looks all locked up barring some upset. None of the teams looks really dominant though.

Tour of Britain is a bit of a misnomer, though "Tour of Southern & Eastern England" won't sell as many tickets.

Yes, it's an odd distribution of stages but I suppose it reflects who has bid for what ?  Is it a condition of the men's tour that the sponsor has to also support the women ?

Think I might trundle over to Haverhill Saturday to watch the start.

Presumably it will go to other places in other years?

I do think it would be better if it were longer, not just because it would visit more of the country but also because it feels like they are just getting into the swing of it and yet it is almost over.

We were probably spoiled by the men's tour this year.  Ordinarily that only visits odd corners of the country and isn't anywhere near a tour of Britain.

I suspect you wouldn't attract the teams if you tried to make either of them longer.
