Any there outdoor  bouldering spots  near Boston Lincolnshire, going up there on holiday  with mrs and dog and a day out with  picnic lunch and bouldering seem like a good way to spend the  day?

Not much bouldering, white water rafting a better choice?

It's about the best/closest to Boston. And it's better than your suggestion.

Sorry to be rude but that's an odd choice for a holiday.

Boston is surrounded by either flat fields in all directions for miles or the sea.  Not in a sea cliff way.

I really can't think of anything nearby except indoors at Peterborough or Lincoln, neither of which is particularly near.

You need drops for white water.

Flood water rafting quite possibly.

Aren't there any canyons in Lincolnshire?

There's a few gravel pits.

The UKC logbook search shows how poor the choice is. 80km radiuss before you start hitting worthwhile venues. That's a 3 hour plus roundtrip in a car.

Its not a climbing specific holiday just thought while I was up there if I could get out somewhere

Oh that's good then!

Plenty of long walks for the dog.

One place I want to go but I haven't had chance is the bubble car museum.
