UKC

Buxton Boss, off Long Hill Buxton.

Found this place on UKC and as I live close by I'm thinking of having a look/boulder. Looks good for a summer's evening.

It looks like a real locals crag with a small amount of bouldering problems of the lower grades, so I figured safer on my own. 

Anyone been ?  what's it like ?

Quite pleasant as I remember.

Few more places along the old road if I remember correctly, nice views and very pleasant on a sunny evening.

Well I've ordered a guidebook with this and a number of other obscure local bouldering place listed in it. 

Looks like Buxton boss is going to be a summer's evening session. 

Yes I have been there. Bit of a slog for a nice view and a pretty limited range of problems. Worth it if you have been everywhere else, or love esoteric. 

I would recommend Wolf Edge as a nice quiet spot where you will be unlike to see anyone, and get to climb some real quality low grade problems.
