Morning all.

Does anyone know of a Fontainebleau specific climbing forum. Couple of reasons. Firstly, found a lost shoe at a crag the other day, so left if on a boulder in case the owner came back looking for it. It was still there after a week so I have it at home, drying out....it looks lonely on it's own so I want to find it's other half.

Secondly, I could do with finding a regular local climbing partner or two. Some one to help spot and motivate (I have a tendency to bail when I get a little scared...).

Edit - Scrap that, it doesn't have a forum, could've sworn it did...

Could be worth taking a look in some Facebook groups - e.g. https://www.facebook.com/groups/FontainebleauClimbingPage/

1500 members, not quite the same structure as a forum but can serve a similar role

I left Facebook a couple of years ago (but that is a different forum / thread topic!). It does mention camtocamp so I will try and see what occurs. Thanks.

Bleau.info has an amazing amount of information and is a great place to store information and plan a day out before thumbing through a guidebook or two. Maybe they could do with a forum, but as we have seen with Brexit, asking the general public for their opinion is not always the best idea....(but that is also another forum / thread - LOL).

I think this might be your closest thing. The forum on Grimper magazine. It is in French in case that's an issue.
