That’s right folks the competition season is almost upon us!
Bouldering
We are running several different leagues this year: an Open Individuals League and an Open Teams League. A full list of dates is below, so get them in your diary.
Open individual:
8th Nov 6th Dec 10th Jan 7th Feb 7th Mar 4 Apl
Open Team:
22nd Nov 20th Dec 24th Jan 21st Feb 21st Mar 18th Apl
There will be prizes for the winners each month and then an overall prize for each league winner at the end. All the competitions start at 6pm finishing at 9pm.

So come along and get training on the re-routed Woody; now suitable for most ages and yet still a challenge for climbers with enough tricky routes to keep the more experienced climbers training hard!!
Dry Tooling
We will be setting up the winter Dry Tooling Wall after the Half Term holidays.
For various reasons beyond our control, we have decided not to run the Dry Tooling League this year BUT no matter what, we will be holding a comp for the ‘The Chris Walker Cup’ ~ dates and details to follow AND we are looking into the feasibility of holding a micro Dry Tooling Festiva !! Keep your fingers crossed and keep checking our Facebook page for details on that.
Please note that due the theft of both pairs of the Centre’s ice axes, at the moment, we do not have any axes you can borrow. We do have a set of Schmoolz and helmets but please remember that to use the Dry Tooling Wall you need to bring and wear: eye protection, gloves, walking/winter boots (no rock shoes or crampons!) and a helmet as well as being over 18.
