Hi

I am after a bouldering mat, and by chance, GO Outdoors are selling off the Metolius Bailout for £90, is this a good buy or does anyone have better recommendations.

V good deal (probably old season colour?). It's a brilliant mat, easy to carry and manipulate unlike taco design mats, yet the hinge is firm enough to be able to land confidently without feeling a gap (problem with some hinge mats). Durable. Good size for most car boots. Light and well-designed.

I have one, got it for £100 at GO. Have been using it for about 4 months and its absolutely fine. Not quite as firm or thick as my DMM highball but pretty good. I don't think you'll get much better unless you're willing to spend £50-£60 more.
