Heeley Development Trust is looking for volunteers to help run events on the climbing boulders in Heeley Millennium Park, the largest community owned and managed park in Sheffield.

We now have two large artificial boulders, plus smaller boulders and 'stepping stones' to provide facilities to climb for all ages and abilities. To promote these features and encourage people to have a go at climbing, we are holding a Heeley Hang bouldering session on Saturday 23rd March, 12-3pm. This event will kick start our bouldering season - we'll be down on site with our 'boot bin' of shoes to borrow and we'll be inviting climbers to set new problems for our online guide to the new Sheaf boulder.

We are a small and committed team and welcome friendly volunteers with an interest, knowledge and practical skills, in bouldering, to assist with the smooth running of the event, as well as offering support and advice to new climbers. Volunteer expenses will be provided.

This is a great opportunity to be part of developing Heeley Hang. Ongoing roles for volunteers could include helping with marketing, running sessions, fundraising and admin. Training and skills development are also offered.
