/ Shropshire Bouldering guidebook
Does anyone know where I can source the Shropshire Bouldering guidebook? Pretty sure it's out of print and can't find any copies going online. Cheers
Don’t know about where to source one, but anything in particular you want to know?
Was thinking of heading over to Nesscliffe/Grinshill for a bit of easy bouldering- haven't been before so was after a guidebook so I'm not completely lost!
Have you tried any of the climbing apps? Possibly not as good as a guide but you might be able to get some information?
Boulder Britain (https://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/publications/guidebooks/boulder_britain_by_niall_grimes-4426) contains details of both Nesscliffe and Grinshill bouldering. It is not a definitive guide to all the bouldering however it contains most of the best problems and will guide you to the rock at each venue.
I'd recommend Grinshill for easy bouldering, Nesscliffe is generally harder stuff.
Niky Ceria has bouldered at a world-class level for several years, although he cares less about the arbitrary number attached to the rock and more about aesthetics, movement and history. UK readers will remember Niky as the man who made the 2nd ascent...
