Not to be mean and cynical but, seeing as you're likely the Alice that made the film, it's probably worth mentioning that each 'view' that the Youtube video gets pushes you closer to winning the competition and thus £500. Not that I'm trying to suggest that there's anything underhanded about you publicising your work in an attempt to win (and it was great, by the way) - and you're certainly not the first of the entrants to the competition to share their video here in the hopes of getting more views - but, in the interest of fairness, the rest of the entries can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/user/teamBMC/videos.

I really don't like these popularity contests as a form of competition. I know it's how social media works, but I still think it's a bit tacky

This got some quite positive praise the first time it was posted.

Just in case you missed it, here's a link:

Great video. All the best for the competition!

Watched this a while ago - it's not a new vid. I liked it because it was just not like other climbing videos. Zippy's traverse has to be one of least attractive bits of climbing out there (OK I'm sure there's worse, but possibly not worse at that level of difficulty) so it's interesting to see a vid about those attempting it. Why would anyone attempt such a ghastly route? I suppose that's the way non climbers think about anyone climbing anything.

Different and original - just what's needed in an ocean of bland and formulaic short films.
