Just a quick note to remind those who are lucky enough to be able to have the Lakes crags as their local area for exercise. The annual restrictions to protect nesting birds are now in place. Raven restrictions apply until 31 May while those for peregrines last until 30 June. As always, restrictions will be reviewed and amended depending on the location and success of individual nests. Full details on FRCC website and the BMC RAD. If you come across a nest in an unrestricted location please make a safe exit from the crag and report your finding through the BMC &/or FRCC websites.
