Come along to our quarterly gathering of climbers and walkers in the South East. The evening includes a discussion of local issues and a talk by World Paraclimbing Champion Fran Brown, so it should be a great evening out. We’ll even lay on some food to keep your energy up.
Discussions will include: an update on the Harrison’s Rocks toilet block and campsite; upcoming local BMC events; and feedback from BMC National Council.
Fran will talk about her journey from childhood adventures in Cornwall to becoming Paraclimbing World Champion in Paris in 2012 and her new role as one of the first BMC Ambassadors.
Date: Saturday 18 January 2014, starting at 4.00pm
Venue: The Reach Climbing Wall, Woolwich, London SE18 5NU
The Reach has kindly offered discounted entry (£6.00) on the day to all BMC Members who want to climb before the meeting, so come early and get a climbing session in too.
The meeting and talk are free to attend, and all are welcome.
