Come along to Exeter for our next gathering of South West climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.

Date: Saturday 27 January 2018, starting at the earlier than usual time of 5.00pm
Venue: The Quay Climbing Centre, Haven Road, Exeter EX2 8AX

Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally.

The meeting will include further discussion of the independent organisational review following consideration of feedback from members since the review group’s report was published in November.

All are welcome; food will be provided by the BMC.
The Quay Climbing Centre is hosting the meeting, so why not get there early and fit in a climbing session too?

This meeting will contain a significant discussion of incidents, rescue following climbing accidents and implications for climbers operating mainly but not exclusively on sea cliffs in the Southwest region. These matters are important and do affect many of us climbing in our region. It would be great to have as many people there as possible. The meeting will open at 5pm at the quay.

I have recently moved to Exeter and would be interested in attending tomorrow, if I can get there in time, but I have realised that my BMC membership expired in December and I haven't yet renewed it. Am I still able to attend?
