Come along to our quarterly gathering of South West climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.

Discussions will include proposals for how Cornwall can more easily have a voice within the BMC South West Area Meeting framework, preliminary discussion on fixed gear on the areas not covered by the present moratorium in West Cornwall, further Installation of abseil chains at popular locations on the North Culm Coast, and plans for the BMC Cornish Climbing Festival, to be held in July at Bosigran.

As one half of the team that placed the abseil chain at Lr. Sharpnose, I would just like to state that no more fixed chains or belays will be placed by either Mark Kemball or myself at any other location on the Culm or Atlantic Coasts until there is a consensus, not just from the next SW Area meeting, but after wider discussion both on UKC and through other media.
