This coming Monday' Novemeber 26th, the BMC local area AGM and ordinary meeting will take place from 7pm at the Dyneley arms, near Otley.

Of, perhaps, most interest to people will be the fact that Volume One of the new Yorkshire Gritstone guide will be on sale after the meeting 'for a discounted rate'. (ok, it's £20!)

One item that will appear under 'any other business' will be any meeting-goers experience, good or bad, of group use at crags. Have a think.

One for you...in my common yorkshire meanderings over the last few years there seems to be a minority but repeating problem with poor practice in school groups under instruction at Ilkley Quarry and Almscliffe Low Man. Specifically inadequate supervision (safety, behaviour and litter....several times) a rude and aggressive instructor (once at Ilkley); route hogging (ie refusing to say when a route will be free....several times). Much worse than anything I've seen in the Peak in the same time period.
