I popped down for a route before rain stopped play yesterday and met one of the Caving reps who told me that on Sunday he had almost trodden in a human poo on one of the paths just next to the top parking bay. He left a note on the cars parked there asking for it to be removed, but there it remained after everybody had gone home. The assumption would be that it was highly likely to be a climber as cavers park in the gated car park, whereas climbers use the on road parking. It's pretty grim almost standing in a fresh poo, and of course the urge to go is totally normal and natural. Maybe go a little further from the road and into the bushes off the path next time?
