Drove down worlds end today and road was closed coming from coedpoeth. Anyone know why or if you can gain access from the other side?

To reduce the likelihood of someone setting fire to the moor apparently.

What next? Closing the ponderosa so some overweight power ranger doesn't drop a fag end after his chip buttie?

Maybe a bit of mixed deciduous woodland instead of just being a grouse moor would be a better strategy. 

I remember the landowner ranting at me on the phone one day after an MRT callout up there. Apparently the public footpaths close after sunset and we had no right to be there...
