I found one of my favourite short stories, 'Bears Discover Fire', by Terry Bisson, on the web the other day, and it reminded me that these days quite a few short stories are available online. I thought it might be interesting and pleasant to share some of our favourites. Old classics and new discoveries all welcome, so long as they're easily read online.

Here's a link for 'Bears Discover Fire'

One of my favourite short stories.  Love going back to it. Often wonder what the Lazarene's Daughter is, and how much it would hurt...

Never read that before, very interesting story. The 'Time here is fluid' line is stuck in my head. Is he torturing himself, in that he's both the demon and the arrogant man in the suit?
