Uni Spending on art

It feels a bit shameful that The Guardian and my Union are going for this target. The headline institution is Cambridge that can't ever really have a serious shortfall due to fees (iit's too small a part of their income vs assets that nearly every other institution will have gone bust) ) and also as it provides many free public galleries.  In any case, some support for public  art seems an important factor for any University.

I agree with Offwidth.

The funding is not from fees but other sources.

It's almost like journalists make a living from creating pointless controversies....
