Hi guys ,

Im taking the boat over from Ireland to Wales with my other half for a short weekend in the camper.

Tara does a bit of climb so it would be nice to check out some of the sport climbing crags as we have basically zero sports crags that suit her ability (and mine to a point) here in Ireland.

We sail into Holyhead but have no plans from there.

Would love recommendations for campsites , crags, towns , food , hikes and any other general activities.

Cheers ,

Gav.

In reply to discosucks:

Betws Y Coed is great for pubs and resteraunts. It gets silly busy in summer on the weekends however.

Blaenau Ffestiniog won't be everyone's cup of tea, but the slate walks around there can be really interesting. Abandoned mining equipment, steep ramps, tunnels etc. Strange stuff around there.

For breakfast, Siabod Cafe near Capel Curig. Sorted.

Sport routes, urmmm, Llanberis slate, but I remember it being pretty tough. Sure others can advise.
