Thinking about a day at the above on Wednesday but I'm clueless about the area so looking for advice on where's best based on the following criteria.

1. As non-serious as possible, no nasty approaches or hanging stances and ideally non-tidal.

2. No abseil approaches for the above reason and also I don't have an ab rope.

3. Coming from Braemar so the more accessible from that road the better.

4. Some vdiffs/severes and also some E1/2 stuff. Doesn't need to be top quality, just pleasant.

I'd thought about Clashrodney, does that work or does anyone have a better suggestion?

Cheers.

In reply to DaveHK:

Clashrodney would be good.
Meikl Partans and / or Fulmar Wall is a bit further drive but would also be good.

In reply to gforce: Yeah as G says and Clashrodney North offers some additional options. Note that the parking has changed and you can’t park at the wee pull in at the railway gates. You need to go further south and park considerately in the yard of North Mains of Findon Farm then head NE to the crag. The farm are ok with this. You could consider Floor’s Craig (approach from the south). Some of the E1/2’s are a bit nippy but the spread of easier routes is ok. Souter Head isn’t bad either.
