Out of boredom I started making a list of peaks I'd climbed starting with every letter of the alphabet.

Managed everything except 3 letters - Q, V and X with a slight cheat on U of an Un-named peak in the Caucases and I being the Index (Aiguilee d') which is also a bit suspect

Anyone have any acheivable ideas for those missing letters or better ideas for I and U?

Pushing it slightly, but Gogarth was known as crag X for some time.

Xixapangma. It is sometimes translitterated that with an X anyway.

I'm going to have to up my game to get up some of these X, Q, V peaks!

But XMoor sounds a good shout - as does Quinag

Quite a few Scottish hills begin with V (if you ignore the Ben or Beinn): Vrackie, Vuirich, Vane etc. Illgill Head, Ill Bell in the Lakes. There's a Queensberry in the Southern Uplands. Uldale Head in the Howgills, Ullock Pike in the Lakes.

Thanks! I'll make a plan to complete the list with X being the only blank spot as I shan't be attempting Xixapangma any day soon

If you can’t find a hill starting with X why not do a route as second best?

A few more: Ill Crag (near Scafell Pike), Iron Crag near Ennerdale, Ullscarf above Thirlmere. Apparently, there's a Viewing Hill near the head of Teesdale but it doesn't seem anything like as interesting as the Scottish V's unless you like lonely moorland? Can't think there will be any X hills in the UK.
