Hi there just after a bit of advice on a good weekend venue at the start of July.

I've got Friday night till Sunday night to play with. I'm staying in Keswick not that that makes much odds as I have a car

Climbing up to V7 and not that fussed about style tho I prefer something with a little bit of height

I'll be on my own with 2 pads  so maybe less than a 2 Mile walk in would be good

Been to bowderstone and badger and langdale before so keen for something new

Any advice would be great

thanks

Nick

I've not been, but Carrock Fell and Eskdale Fisherground are on my list. If you enjoy a pleasant walk and a little swim, it may be worth checking out the boulders in Gillercombe. Some are quite big.

One way or another, you'll do well to get hold of the guide, as it's a doorstopper of a book and there's a lot to explore. Also a good brush!

Carrock can be very midgy if there's no breeze and you will probably loose a lot of skin this time of year. St Bees is a must if you've never been.

Ha ha I'm used to skin loss as I climb mostly on Dartmooor granite

St bees does make sense if it's going to warm up, hopefully a coastal breeze

Sour Milk boulders would fit the bill:
