hi there guys , new to the UKC forum already liking the look of it so far. just looking for some help and ideas really.

so me and a couple of friends are looking to do another big mountain next year, so far weve done everest base camp, kilimanjaro, jungfrau and gran paradise which were all guided trips. We all have good fitness, moderate skill level and knowledge.

just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for the next trip we should do. willing to travel anywhere if its worth the journey, nothing over 6000m preferably or crazy expensive . We dont just want a long monotonous hike, but we want to be tested physically, and must have a some technical stages to it with maybe via ferrata, grade 2 scrambling, rope work and bits of steady climbing involved. Added bonus too with good scenery and friendly locals for guiding us

look forward to any ideas . cheers  jim

A couple of ideas spring to mind:

The multi day Via Ferrata della Bochette in the Brenta Dolomites would meet many of your criteria. This link is to a fully guided trip but you could organise your own itinerary. https://via-ferrata-dolomites.com/via-delle-bocchette-brenta-dolomites/

If you fancy going further afield you could contact Off The Wall Trekking in Kathmandu. Quite a bit different from your average trekking company, they will tailor a trip to your requirements. Find them on Facebook or http://www.offthewalltrekking.com/

Many many possibilities in The Western Alps - Tour of Mont Blanc?

Peru has some great mountains which feel remote but are relatively accessible. It’s also a fantastic country to visit regardless.

What about something like the Spaghetti Route, five or so days of 4,000 metre peaks linked together with a variety of ways to increase or decrease the grade?
