I'm heading up to Fort Augustus next week for 5 days and was hoping to get in a day or 2 of climbing. Can anyone recommend anywhere fairly close for bouldering or trad?

Gradewise anything around E1 for trad, 6c - 7a boulder.

In reply to Maynard:

This is your nearest quality crag - although it's not massively close.

Again, not massively close but there is excellent bouldering at the Ruthven Stone.
Also just along at Brin but probably the vegetation is still too high.
Some trad and sport climbing at the crag above the boulders.
Stone Country for bouldering info,SMC Scottish Sport Climbs & Highland Outcrops for route info.

Cheers guys, I'll take a look at both of them if I get the chance!

Or if it's dryer in the West go to Glen Nevis - a better cragging area and not a lot further. Or Moy Rock near Contin if you want to clip some bolts.
