I'm wondering if anyone knows of reasonably priced accomodation suitable for the winter period this year. It could be either for an initial month or so or could be long term if the owner was amenable. I'm looking to leave the UK before Dec 31st at the latest.

Hi,

Enty (https://www.ukclimbing.com/user/profile.php?id=3879) and his partner run a gite and b&b from Faucon which isn't too far from Buis les Baronnies. I've stayed there and it's close to LOTS of crags such as St Leger, Malaucene etc. etc.

I don't know if they rent out at that time of year, but worth checking.

TJB.

Thanks, Enty has been helpful to me in the past, I hadn't thought of contacting him. You reminded me of Alauzon as well so that's an idea too.

You're welcome.

I recently stayed at a really nice little airbnb in Vaison-la-Romaine run by a chilled French couple. Link is here; https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/34446211?source_impression_id=p3_1598007587_....

The chap is a winemaker at a local vineyard. Great wine, but mornings required lots of coffee!

It was a 15 minute drive to the car park for St Leger. The advantage are the shops and cafes close by.

TJB.
