Bunkhouses in Dartmoor?

Can someone suggest/recommend bunkhouses for 20-30 people in Dartmoor? If it had camping nearby as well that would be good but not essential. It's actually for a meet that will be offered to all on here during the summer so assume the clientele to be largely climbers. Ta.

In reply to Ava Adore: the Plume of feather's in Princetown (decent pub too) and has camping out back

Also, Sparrowhawk in Moretenhampstead - this is a lovely little town, with some nice pubs. Not sure about the camping though.

In reply to deanr: 2nd shout for the Plume of Feathers., Stayed there a few years back (camping) but did have a nose at the bunk house and it looked ok.

Hmmm...Plume of Feathers bunkhouse has some pretty awful reviews on TripAdvisor - has anyone stayed there?

Sparrowhawk looks OK but only 16 max so a bit smaller than I'm looking for.

Just found Dartmoor Expedition Centre - looks like one of the barns just takes 21. Anyone stayed there?

I've stayed at Plume of Feathers and Powdermills. No problem with POF but Powermills is better. Nice cosy spot, nowhere near the pub though.

The Prince of Wales in Princetown and the Fox Tor Cafe in Princetown could probably cover your numbers with their respective bunk houses and are only about 200m apart. The Fox Tor Cafe is great for brekkies. The Plume is fine for camping! I live in the village so am qualified to comment feel free to PM if you need any info and may well join the picnic
In reply to La Shamster: Powdermills is fine but very restricted parking and could have courses using the accomodation. You also have to drive anywhere for food if you don't want to self cater.

Not stayed there but Widecombe is a nice spot (if a little full of grockles), good pub (Rugglestone Inn) and a stones throw from some great climbing and bouldering (Haytor/Lowman/Bonehill/Hound Tor etc).

There's also a bunkhouse/camping at Holne (call Holne Barn I think) and Runnage Farm bunkhouse that I can think of that aren't mentioned above, not sure if either sleep 20+ though.

Stayed here once and mentioned above. Bigish camping barn and a couple of bunkhouses plus camping plus in a lovely spot. Sure you could fit 20-30 on the site between the barn/bunk and camping

I think it might be a bit too small but there is a YHA camping barn near Hound Tor.

Love the place at Holne but I think they've stopped doing it and are planning on converting the barn in to a holiday cottage. I'm sure if you e-mailed them. Tea shop and pub are nice in Holne too.
