Can anyone suggest or even name the nearest camp site to Slipstones? I believe there's supposed to be one fairly close or within a mile or two of the crag from what I hear (and close to the pub). I'm looking to pinpoint the location by grid ref if possible.
The Black Swan in Fearby has camping, it's a nice pub but I suspect the camping may be a bit 'caravan club' and pricey. I guess that's about 3-4mi away. Can't think of anything closer pub or camping-wise off the top of my head.
In reply to steveB: I'm sure you could hide away behind a wall etc, but Swinton Estate or one of the farms may have something to say. You could hide in the woods to the east. Or just cope with a 2 minute journey from Fearby.
